A Little About Us...
John is a full time guide and has been since 1988 even though he took his first guide trip in 1975 when He moved to Florida as a tackle rep for Outdoor Sports Headquarters Inc. He fished his first national tournament with BASS with the introduction of the MEGA BUCKS series on the Harris Chain of Lakes in 1986. This was the kick off of his professional carrier finishing as the TOP QUALIFIER. John is one of few that qualified for the TOP TEN twice. John also fished FLW trail with his highest finish of 2nd place at Okeechobee going on to qualify for the FLW CLASSIC 1995/96.
John retired from tournaments in 1999 after a divorce to take care of his 16 year old daughter and devoted his knowledge and skills to his guide customers.
John's increasing bass fishing expertise is recognized and utilized by industry professionals:
- BASSMASTER Magazine has quoted John in several articles since 1996 including his monthly reports on the bass patterns and best fishing techniques for Lake Kissimmee.
- BASSER Magazine quoted John in Japan's June-July 1996 edition.
- B. A. S. S. Times Publication September 1996 issue quoted John regarding the 1996 Lake Kissimmee drawdown.
- John has been featured on television shows teaching fishing techniques and been asked to be the guest on other shows.
- John supports and supplies info for National Teen Anglers. This program gives Teens Anglers the opportunity to learn the intricate details of fishing and the opportunity to put this knowledge to practice. There is also a great need for mentors. John gives his time to NTA to give back to the sport.

John,
We all made it home with no troubles but the weather is not, repeat, not Florida. Jane, Brent and I are coping, but we miss Florida badly. Jane and I have been dreaming about our holiday ever since we got home, which shows just how impressed we are. I can't wait to fish with you again. Thanks for a great day of fishing!
