The spawn is for the most part done, even though there are a few fish still carrying eggs. This time of the year the fish are gathering up in large groups and eating everything in site.
Fishing with live bait, were going through 4 dozen hits and catching as many fish as you can land in a 4 hour trip. What ever you want, from 4 hours to a longer day on the water.
This was the case for Eddie Squirewell and his wife on Monday with 25 + fish in the boat with a 9 1/2 pounder for the big fish of the day
